Hi Everyone. i got this bag of grass fertilizer from one of the local Home Depot's and i noticed that the nutrient ratio on it is close to the one that's recommended for citrus trees. Is it a good idea to go ahead and use this for my citrus tree garden or should i stick with the recommended fertilizer brands?

Your fertilizer's formula is a good formulation for citrus. Should make an excellent fertilizer. I cannot see if the product contains trace minerals or not. If it does not contain trace minerals, you will need to add them separately. Most lawn fertilizers do not contain trace minerals. TV is really terrible tonight, thank God there is a hockey game on. - Millet (1,426-)

It has micronutrients! Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Mo, Cu....

One thing to do is make sure you dilute this by applying small amounts more frequently, otherwise, it could burn the roots. The fertilizer content is higher than most fertilizers, so there's big possibility that it could ruin the roots if you plan to do single big doses only.

I am currently using 25-5-15 W/trace at 300 PPM with every watering. - Millet (1,426)
