As a citrus aficionado, do you have a preference for a citrus shampoo? If so, which one? (And since you're using it I assume it works well.)

I've seen them and wanted to try, especially the one with Yuzu as ingredient, but then too pricey for me.

I sometimes see them advertised in late night TV's. The shampoo is scented using natural citruses, most likely from the aromatic peel of the fruits and sometimes juices.

Just like Benny mentioned, lemon juices are artificially flavored, but shampoos and dishwashing soaps have real lemons in them!

valenciaguy, an example of one such shampoo is Citre Shine Fresh Fusion Revitalizing Shampoo.

How ironic.

I look for it.

Shampoo is something I don't normally think about but I was forced to when I found out the one I have been using for years has been discontinued. Of course, being a citrus nut, the idea of a shampoo with the essence of the fruit seemed appropriate. I agree with you Joe - these 'specialty' shampoos are expensive, even more so the ones with fancier ingredients than citrus. (Talk about money down the drain.) However I may try it once just for the experience.

My youngest daughter uses Naturals Citurs Smoothie by "Suave" Not expensive.. I have used it a couple of times as well.. I prefer a shampoo i've been using for about 20 yrs now though.. But I like to use my daughters when I can't use my own.. It smells great!! and if it can clean a 14yr olds head it can clean any thing!! LOL
Does not damage her baby fine hair either.. she also uses the conditoner..
Suave also carrys body washes ( I do use) and other citrus scented products at nice low price...
Just my 2c..
