When I was a kid in the Philippines, I remember having potable water flow for only one hour each day, and we have to live with it, and yet we have plenty of rainfall. So all the laundry, taking bath and non-drinking water usage, we get from the rain and stored them in several oil drum barrels. But what those people are undergoing is just severe.

Southern California will soon be on that same route.
