Hey everyone!
I accidentally stumbled on this forum. I was looking for a citrus forum in my own region but apparently none exist that are specifically about citrusses. Sow I'm hopping on this train right here;).
I had my first citrus 2 years ago, a citrus madurensis (which turns out to be mitis
) but giving it to much water during its first winter killed it completely.
Last spring, I bought a sinensis which is about 1 meter. This one seems to have survived the winter very well.
I give it 11-3-6 (N-P-K) fertilizer (sunplant, a product that I think is only sold here in Belgium) every 2 weeks from february to august.
I hope its a good NPK ratio? I guess thats a hard question because the climat here is a lot different from the rest off the world.
In one month an "oranjerie" half an hour from here has its annual 'citrusdays' and I will probably buy 1 or 2 new citrusses :d.
I'm hoping to see and learn a lot here.
Greetings from Belgium!
