Recently added 16 more cultivars on it. Managed to sneak in some time between breaks in the rain. I first trained the persimmon to give me those nicely spaced vertical branches to easily graft into. Requires about two years to do so, and next year, this will look very pretty.

All my persimmon scionwood are bark grafted, some with combo T-bud below the bark graft. I've had 100% take with this method on persimmons.

Best time to do it is when you have a few leaves open on a branch.
