I'm attempting to grow a Sorrento lemon tree from seed. However, this is my first attempt at citrus tree growing and I'm in need of some advice. Based on what I know this isn't what a tree seedling should look like. Should I stake it, or is this what it is supposed to look like? I've just never seen any type of tree seedling curl like this. I know that citrus trees (we have a Lisbon lemon tree in a container) are grown from stock and not seed.

Any advice is very appreciated.

Looks like a weed, definitely not a citrus plant.

Thanks, Laaz. I'm showing my ignorance but it was new soil and, as far as I knew, the only seeds in the pot. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

I have a few Feminello Sircusano plants available if you're looking for a great Italian lemon.

Definitely does not look like any kind of citrus seedling. I agrees with Laaz looks more like some kind of weed. i can send you some Lisbon seed if you want theml.
