I would like valencia orange bud so i can graft it onto my only tree that i can graft to right now. I don't really have any kind of citrus to trade because i am new to citrus but i do have many other tropcals and some interesting ordinary plants to trade for it.

You can perhaps exchange with someone else in Canada. From the US to Canada, it would be very strict through customs.

Sending citrus to Canada is difficult. I really don't understand the big deal, as Canada does not have any citrus industry to worry about or protect. We can ship citrus to within ONE INCH of the Canadain boarder to the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, New York, and Main, but two inches further north is against the law. The restriction must be purely Canadian governmental rules and regulations. - Millet

Valenciaguy, I think you are 100 percent correct. The law should certainly protect all the Canadian Citrus growers, and all their groves, from any harm caused by shipping citrus trees across the border to indoor hobbyist. - Millet

You can look up this link.

http://ccpp.ucr.edu/budwood/budwood.html

The CCPP can and has shipped internationally BUT you have to do the import permit arrangement with your government yourself.
