* Persons classified as "ugly" may not walk down any street. (San Francisco)
* It is illegal to pile horse manure more than six feet high on a street corner. (San Francisco)
* Giving or receiving oral sex is prohibited. (San Francisco)
* It is illegal to have more than two cats or dogs. (San Jose)
* You may not play percussion instruments on the beach. (Santa Monica)
* One may not raffle off a dog as a gift in any public place. (Shasta Lake)
* Ducks have the right of way to cross Rancho California St. at all times. (Temecula)
* Kites may not be flown above 10 feet over the ground. (Walnut)
* Children may not wear a Halloween mask unless they get a special permit from the sheriff. (Walnut)

Sad thing is.. there usually was a reason (someone tried it/ complained about it) that caused those laws to be written....

Well in wine making, Lalvin EC 1118 is the hardiest yeast there is that many claimed you can even ferment cement with this kind of yeast, so I guess this is really true.

And also, in the California constitution, all precipitation that falls within the state is owned by the state. So if you build a pond or a dam, or collect water into 55 gallon drums and used that water to irrigate your citruses, you can literally be billed by the state. Benny, you may get a hefty bill from Arnold one of these days,

I know of somebody who was fined for fishing without a license in his private pond, simply because the water in the pond was collected from surface runoff and belonged to the state and within the scope of jurisdiction of the California Department of Fish and Game.

Couple laws in Wisconsin:
Blonde women cannot drive at night as their night vision is not good.
Illegal for a woman to be on top when having sex--missionary only. (how would they know?)
And yes, I need permits to park on street. One for day & one for night. I don't have a driveway or garage! Any car on city street (Milwaukee) between 2 -7am without permit on window will get a $20-30.00 ticket - except for Sunday & holidays.
Fri nights bars are open till 2:30 & some parking checkers start ticketing cars parked outside them right at 2
