Autumn is the time when I can find Soldier Bug anywhere, backyard and house.
It is good bug, just don't make them nervous Wink

Great photo. That looks like what we call a stink bug here in the US. If you touch them they put off a nasty smell.

I think the European variety is a good bug, but in the southern US the green stink bug is a bad bug--it sucks juice from plants like tomato and soybean. There are some predatory stink bugs in the US, but usually the green stink bug is bad.
