Hi,
We have this grapefruit in my father's farm.We have been told that it is a "Star Ruby" grapefruit but this week a visitor said it is not a "Star Ruby", instead it is a "Rio Red"
Can you identify this grapefruit from three photos below?

I vote for Rio Red, which is a deep red, seedless grapefruit that shows a good peel blush. Star Ruby trees often have narrower leaves which are typically variegated, with yellow /white streaks in the leaves and bears some of its fruit in clusters. Dr. Manners opinion will be a very qualified opinion. - Millet

I'm not willing to guarantee the id from the photos, but I, too, lean toward Rio, primarily because the fruit has a solid core, and Star normally makes an open core. Does the tree have any white-variegated leaves? A Star nearly always will have at least a few (perhaps not many), whereas a Rio will normally have none at all.
