Hello,
I have been looking around here for quite a while and decieded to get on in. Started out growing a bunch of Pineapples, then Bannanas, Plumerias, on and on.... Just had to try growing Key Limes. I read a bunch on ths forum about them. Well, I wound up eating a whole bag of Key Limes and saving the seeds over a long weekend. (Key Lime Margaritas, Key Lime Aid, in my Mexican Beer, and even Key Lime Green Tea) The casualties were many. In the end I am left with just a few of the strongest surviving. They are doing just fine. The information from this forum is amazing!

Glad to be in.....

My Key Limes are loving the warm Carolina Summer! These plants are still only about 12-14" tall. I can't wait till my first signs of fruit. This fall they will be 3. I'll just have to wait, but I am used to that. My Pineapples always take about 3 years. Have had at least 1 of them fruit for the last 5 years. Looking to increase my chances with 13 Pineapples going right now. Thanks for the comments, glad to be in.

Hey Grit,
My mother lives in the Raleigh area, actually Wendell.
We must get together and maybe we can swap some tropical fruit plants next time I am up that way.
I am out of swapping Citrus for now because I am under a quarantine, hopefully that will be a thing of the past soon!!
Take Care!
Darren
