Well I recently purchased a Eureka Lemon and a Bearss Lime and they are doing great but I noticed yesterday that the Lime which appears to be a grafted tree and I believe on to Flying Dragon, is going to flower and it has leaves sprouting from the lower end of the tree (the graft end) that resemble very closely Flying Dragon. Is this a common occurance on grafted trees and should I leave well enough alone? Thanks for any advice!

Simply rub them off with your hands if they just sprouted to concentrate better growth on the existing grafts.
Unless you want to graft other types to it, I would usually leave them alone, then select from them the direction of growth that I wanted, pull out the unwanted sprouts and graft over the remaining.

Joan, to clarify Joe's thread, unless you intend using the rootstock growth for grafting other varieties onto it, get rid of them, as they will over take your tree. - Millet
