I spent yesterday working on my cirtus - cleaning, pruning, fertilizing, etc., and noticed a lot of my Page trees (and a few others) have new growth on the trunk, way below the leafy branches. Any suggestions on if I should leave them to grow or should I take them off? All are far enough up that they will be off the ground when they get larger. Some trees have just 2 or 3, others have 6 or 7 or so.

If it is below the graft line remove them. Most rootstock is much more agressive than the scion. If you let them go they will take over.

Some roostocks are much worse than others about sprouting too. I make it a point of always looking for sprouts such as these whenever I'm doing any work around my trees.

The new growths are all well above the graft line.

Those are good then unless you just don't want limbs that low on the trunk.
