Joe nice post! I will have to post some winter photos. It truly is amazing, 3000 feet higher than where i live they get 4 to 6 meters of snow each winter(thats 15 to 25 feet). Sometimes much less and others much more, like in 1999 Grouse Mountain received over 9 meters of snow - thats nearly 37 feet of snow on the ground. My eldest daughter was born May 21 that year and with binoculars I could see people skiing from the hospital room down in the city.
Where I live we get very little snow perhaps perhaps 0 to 3 small snow episodes each winter. I had the Christmas lights turned on to warm my lemons and other citrus for about 20 nights and 10 days last winter.

The 2010 Winter Olympics will be held here in Vancouver and Whistler I would like to welcome everyone to share the experience. I just hope we have the snow that year Exclamation If there is no snow, then a bumper crop of citrus! Laughing
