Today March 17, celebrates the death of Patrick, a great saint of the Church, and the patron saint of Ireland. In honor of Saint Patrick, today all of the leaves on my citrus trees are a dark Irish green. - Millet |

My wife (Mary Lou) is Irish, I am "Irish" only on Saint Patrick's day. We drove into town for dinner and of course ordered the special--- corn beef and cabbage with a good helping of potatoes.
Laaz, in Dublin Ireland to take a tour of the Guinness brewery you have to pay to take the tour. Same at the Waterford Glass factory.
Happy Saint Patrick's day Molly Malone.

Mark T, Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Yes, I would love to receive seeds of the elusive Saint Michael's Paperrind Orange. It would be absolutely great!!! I could put Saint Michael's Paperrind, right next to my Saint Dominic Sour Orange, and Saint Teresa Lemon. It would make an awesome trio. Thanks a million for thinking of me.- Millet |

Great, then consider them yours. I'll probably keep a few to grow out. I did some searching for wood in several states and struck out. So seed is the only alternative. This is an all but forgotten variety. I liked the idea of what you were assembling and I made a mental note to look for it when I had the chance.
From what I gather on the internet, this was a very highly regarded orange at one point. Thin rind, sweet, dwarfing in size and matured in the off period between Navel and Valencia. I don't think anything new has been written about it in 50 years and couldn't find a single photo that wasn't in black and white. |
