Getting ready to add more Oroblanco capacity to my Chandler...Can you experts advise on when to t-bud in spring time in CA ? Shall I go ahead, or wait another month or so ?

ez$$ I'm not in CA, but once you see the host tree in active growth, the bark will be slipping. If you are past the chance of frost it should be a good time.

Laaz is correct when the bark is slipping it is time to t-bud.

That means in about a couple of weeks if not earlier. We are in the same climate pattern EZ. Already I have bloom and s[routs everywhere.

Thanks all !! I did notice sprouting on some trees yesterday....Will wait 1-2 more weeks...as weather seems unsettled this week. Finished the plums yesterday...now just citrus and pawpaws to graft. Smile
