Hi there citrus people. My Kaffir Lime tree has of late been growing like crazy and i have an abundance of the fruit. Now i know you can use the leaves in thai cooking which i rarely will do but is there any other uses for the fruit and/or leaves you know about???? I heard once that thais use it for shampoo how i do not know??

You could use the juice in a shampoo, i think.

The sour juice of the fruit is used for several domestic applications. It is used as a hair cleanser and is often added to shampoo. It is also used as a bleaching agent in washing clothes. In China, it is used as an air freshener or home perfume.

We have S E Asian grocery shops over here, they sell frozen whole Hystrix fruit, also dried peel in packets, so you could process the same way.
You could also freeze the pulp in ice cube trays for future use.
I mainly use the juice/pulp in salad dressing.
