				| Whitmire is a national company. They have been around for a long time. In Denver, it is carried by two of the large greenhouse chemical suppliers. I purchased it in a 2-1/2 gallon jug for $60.00. Nursery/garden centers that also sell supplies might have it in smaller sizes. Also, there is always Volk horticultural oil that is also labeled for citrus. - Millet (594-) | |

				| Neem oil is a vegetable oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of the neem tree.
Horticultural oil mentioned here is a refined petroleum product. there are other kinds though, that are some type of mineral oil.

Neem is supposed to be a all around preventative fungicide/pesticide. I have never had much luck with it, although my experience with it is limited. The petroleum based oil however works extremely well for scales or spider mites. - i used it for mites and found some dead scales I didn't even know I had, great stuff. the only thing that kinda stinks is the smell and the fact that it is petroleum based, so I wash my fruit before consumption, epically kumquats. I guess you could spray the trees with soapy water to wash it all off after a month or so, just thinking out loud here

				| Anyone know where to buy a good working Horticultural oil in Europe? I am fighting red spidermites at the moment and the only thing i got working against them is a pesticide NOT recommended for edible plants. _________________
