Here is a picture of a vine a nursery customer gave me last year. It was just a little snip when she gave it to me. I rooted it and planted it ou tby a post and this is the result. It has really taken off. It is a perennial in my area and as you can see, grows like a weed! Do I have the correct name and does anyone know the correct latin names?

Mexican Flame Vine's latin name is Senecio confusus

Yes you have the correct name-it is a neat ornamental vine that is not too rampant of a grower.

Hey I identified with that latin name immediately Embarassed This would be a great latin name to print on cups or t-shirts-then you could have a chance to tell folks what the botanical name means and advertise for a cool tropical vine at the same time Wink My wife and children would certainly agree that David MacManus should also be known as Senecio confusus Very Happy
