I bought several pummelos at the market that weren't identified by variety.
The fruit is slightly larger than a red pummelo and has a slight neck. There was a navel inside which surprised me as I've never heard of a navel pummelo before. Taste is sweet with little acidity but not as sweet as an Oroblanco or Melogold and no bitterness. Seedless. Juicy. Yellow rind. Light yellow flesh.
It is not the common Asian pummelo, which is often seedy and somewhat dry. What could it be?
