Cara cara does have a tendency to produce variegated sports. just be patient.

Thank you, Phillip. We're quarantined too... I should probably change the title to "anyone in Ventura.or LA County only"... Sad I appreciate your gesture though.

@ Laaz... I had read that somewhere (either from you or Millet). Looks like what I'll be hoping for!

That's nice to know I'll keep an eye on mine.

AND then maybe a strong wind will rip off the sport and jam it in the ground just in the place I'd like it too be where it will root and grow large and strong and produce bushels of sweet fruit.

Well I can dream right cause in Florida I sure can't graft the sport.
