I have two plum trees close to each other. One is doing great and growing at a ridiculous rate, had lots of blooms this year, no fruit. The other started the season well, had quite a few blooms(not as many as the other one) but neither had blooms at the same time. My nursery guy thinks the same situation of my apples, they are new trees and havent adapted to be on the same cycle yet(although oddly I did get a few apples off one tree which bloomed when no others were). One of these plums is a Gulf Beauty. I dont know what the other is off hand, but it is a different cultivar than the Baeuty and is also a tropical plum.

The problem: That one has not grown a lot, its leaves are kind of yellowish and it is definately not near as bushy as the other plum tree. I dont think its disease, I just think it isnt getting something it needs. What is a good fertilizer for plum trees? Any special care I should give it different than my citrus trees?
