In reading about 2,4-d as a herbicide, I noticed that it's also used to increase the fruit size of commercial citrus. Has anyone here used it and what kind of application rate and results did you get?

Thanks,
Phillip

2,4-D is commercially used on citrus for several reasons, both in the grove and elsewhere. However, you better be able to provide VERY ACCURATE and correct application rates to your trees, or instead of receiving the expected benefits, you will received a very damaged or dead tree. 2.4-D sprays by home owners is never recommended. - Millet (993-)

I have plenty of grapefruit trees to test on that I can spare to loose. Smile My topworking project isn't going fast enough and I think I've seen more grapefruit than I ever anticipated. It does smell pretty good though when I mow and the air is filled with the aroma of grapefruit I've hit with the DR Mower.
