I've been noticing these guys hanging around my citrus the past week.

I am wondering what bug it is. I know it can jump or fly because I sprayed it with an alcohol solution and it jumped/flew toward me.

Yes, I was scared... LOL!

Anyway, the end that resembles a pointed arrowhead (up) looks like it has red eyeballs towards the edge. I doubt that is the "real" head end the the bug. The other end (narrower, down) has some hairy-like filaments.

Sorry about the low resolution. My outdated el cheapo camera cannot zoom in any further on the bug.

Hard to tell for sure, but it seems to be some sort of leaf hopper.

Or stink bug.

I tried to sharpen the image. There are two red dots at the edge of this end (red arrows). It makes the bug appear to have eyes in the back of its body.

I doubt this is the true head of the bug. If it is, then this bug has one BIG head.

I am guessing that the head of the bug is somewhere hidden at the fuzzy end (yellow arrow).

At first, I thought the head was at the red arrow end, so this bug got me fooled.

The form remembers me most to a common green stink bug, but I miss the six legs and shoulder shield it has....
