Some of the recipes for pickled limes call for chilis and garlic. I want to add them to my recipe, but need to know if these ingredients are added after the pickling process, or should I put them in with the limes when I put it together? |

For a good solid flavor I would add it before starting the process.

I bet they are good. I've never had the pink bar ones, but I have had them. They are just a hard boiled eggs soaked in brine right? |

Homemade pickled eggs are great. I ate a pink one in a bar once. I think it would have taken 6 or 8 more beers before I thought it was good. plus who knows how old it was.
If you save the pickling juice from "hot pickled pepper rings, leave boiled eggs in the juice for a week or more. Very tasty.
