Last Tuesday, Victor French PhD (entemology), Mr. Mamuto PhD (entemology, native of South africa) and John Watson, budwood doordinator aat Weslaceo visitied South East Texas . They were checking for the Asian citrus pysllid and greening disease. None was found in our area however the psyliid was found in the Houston area. They visited two nurseries and three large satsuma plantings. So far they have not found any Greening disease in the state of Texas

I hope the greening disease stays in the tropical areas and not transfer successfully or get established in subtropical areas.
