It looks like South Texas has a populatuion of ACP's. Not very good news. The industry there is a basically break even deal and Greening will destroy the industry. There isn't any fat to trim.

Charles, I believe the same situation will be found in California. I would think that trees in California are already infected with HLB, just not showing the symptoms yet. It takes approximately 2 years for greening symptoms to show up. It is either find a cure, or genetic modification. If this does not occur than it is history, or big time profit reduction, for all citrus producing states - it is only a matter of time. - Millet

Nnnnnoooooo!!!! This is terrible news, I know the whole industry has been shaking in their boots for a while about this disease, it's just sad to see everyone's fears (and expectations really) come to pass. I hope something can be done about this before the industry is devastated.
