Thanx Skeeter! Yeah i didn't knew what he ment with minors. I don't think that the fertilising product i use contains this enough. All i can see is NPK 6-6-7 which i think is quite low (N)? Further 0.01% Boron, 0.003% Copper, 0.03% Iron, Mangaan? (Mn) (don't know how to say it in english) is or absent or not present, 0.015% Magnese, 0.001% Molybdène? (MO) and 0.005% Zinc.

But the problem is that i have no idea where to get those products, just like finding citrus trees is a big probleme. The only species i can find here in shops are kumquat, orange, lemon or calamondin.

About the nodes.. That's actually amazing how this works. But when you graft a mature scionwood onto a young seedling, and it flowers, can't this exhaust the roots of that young seedling? I mean, that counting of nodes should be important, so young plants don't flower until they're mature enough. When you manipulate this, doesn't affect it your plant in a negative way?

For tonight... then i think i'll leave them outside because the whole next week it's going to rain and be cloudy. So there will centainly not be any sunshine... As long as it don't damages the young growth.

Thanx for all the answers for so far, really interesting subject!!

It is a really interesting subject-- I thought I knew a lot about plants, but there are so many things about citrus that are different.

It is good that your fertilizer contains trace elements-- I do not know enough to say that the amounts are low--but plants only need very small amounts of these trace elements, so unless you start seeing symptoms of trace element deficiencies, I would not worry much about that.

I've got two calamondins that I've grown from seedings. They are now about 3 years old. Last fall, one put out a few blossoms and produced one fruit.
