I bought some property in Homestead, Florida in the Redlands area Friday and will grow mangoes, lychees, and star fruit. Huanglongbing disease is epidemic in south Florida and too risky to grow citrus.

Not really, my water well has problems. Last night I got back home from a very long drive from Tallahassee, FL only to find the pump on but no water.
All the stores were closed locally and had to drive 15 miles to buy 5 gallons of bottled water just to flush the toilet! I finally found the problem and got the water running again but there is still a small leak! I will get it fixed after the holidays. This problem must get fixed as I cannot live comfortably without water.
I have always had city water before moving here and never a problem with water utility.

I understand completely, I currently have 2 deep wells but was on a shallow well for years. I have only been to Homestead once bud I could dream of what I could grow there.
