Oh yeah, we watch all those shows. I want to get a 330ci black on black. Just a matter of finding the right one. The 2000 - 2005 are my favorite body style.

She blew the transmission in her Saturn & it had 150,000 miles on it. I wasn't about to spend any more money on that thing. A friend of mine had the BMW & was selling it cheap as he was moving to Germany (Airforce)...

Neat video and sweet ride! Are you a pretty good wrench turner Laaz? Maintenance on them at the dealer is robbery. I've had to get back to polishing my mechanic skills with my car because I can't believe how much they want to charge.

G they are pretty easy to work on. I've built a few cars from the ground up & BMW is actually very easy to work on.

I agree with you Laaz. Black on black is cool. My first Corvette was black on gray, the one I have now is black on black. Really pretty when clean, but black is a little difficult to keep clean. - Millet

Yep, 330ci black on black... This one is black on tan, but you get the point.

As far as dangerous roads, Colorado has many, many, many of them. Here is a video of one called Black Bear. If is so dangerous that by Colorado law, it can be only be driven from the top of the pass down. It is against the law to drive from the bottom up.. In the Colorado mountains there are 100s of roads much like BlackBear.. I have driven over most all of these roads on 4-well drive weekends.- Millet

Good to hear that your Beamer won't be too hard to work on. I don't have a BMW but its close cousin, the Mini. It has basically all BMW parts in it. Unfortunately maintenance isn't that easy. To do much of the work on this cramped engine requires putting it into 'Service Mode' which means taking one or both front wheels off and removing the entire front bumper assembly.

Regardless it is way fun to drive and is very eager to drive fast.

Just found PDF in my e-mail box: "BMW FASCINATION NEWSLETTER March 2013"
sent by local reseller Friday afternoon - around the time when Laaz & I mentioned them. Fascinating... Laughing
I do not recall anything like that received from them before.
Must be a coincidence, can't be a spam ... huh Confused
Or by Occam's razor, maybe the sender is a citruholic, lurker here...
