When I was working in Turin (Torino) in 2006, I was priviledged to be shown around the 18th century Royal Palace in the nearby town of Venaria Reale. At the time, the place was in the throes of a huge restoration project after it had become derelict. It was a 'hard-hat' building area.
Today, I have updated my web page about the Citroniera, or Lemon House, which has been wonderfully restored - although as yet without any lemon trees. Do look at the video of the final product (at the bottom of the page)

I know some people on this forum intensely dislike big government projects. Personally, I'm very happy that some of my taxes have been spent on this hugely expensive, EU sponsored restoration.
