on 51 pages there are 34 of them without posts...that's more then half of the forum. Shocked

The things I do when I'm so bored Very Happy

Home page has "Who is Online" statistic. Number of Guests always outnumbers logged-in users.
If someone has slow internet connection than accessing the forum as a Guest is noticeable faster (pics not available).
Some people just prefer lurk-mode (not participating in discussions) and that can not be changed.
Also, consider international members having problems with english, like me for example, writing something is always a bugger...

Many of the "who is online" that you don't see are web bots indexing pages (Google, Bing etc...)

You guys that speak English as a second language are to be commended. I think It's great that you make the effort to share with us and learn from a foreign resource.

A lot of people without posts haven't logged in for quite a while though thus being inactive users.

Those "inactive" users without posts might be people who google searched a topic/question, got directed to the Forum, and then had to register to fully view the pics or links. This Forum comes up high on google searches about Citrus, especially obscure topics, varieties or species. That would encourage one off users.
