Yes, I see the city you live in from your website. Nice biz you have there!
I stayed in Gatlinburg 2 nights...beautiful with the Great Smokey Mountains nearby.
I am not working now - living on a home equity loan to make my basement apt. which is taking longer than expected. What the hell...I can always borrow from that LOL.
Maybe we can get Theresa (citrusnut) to join us She lives just about 10 miles west of me. Oh, and then there's Joan in MN. Hey, the more , the merrier - and cheaper on gas. I'll just have to bring more wine LOL.
Hey Joan & Theresa, what do ya think? I don't mind sleeping on the floor Susan, or we could get a hotel/motel. Now you got me going.
I have to say that you won't meet any nicer people than Millet, Laaz, Stan, Ned, Darren, Gaylord & others yet to meet in person there. You won't be sorry for going. _________________ Patty

I didn't know there was another WI person here.
Hi Theresa! (waving). I grew up in New Berlin (when it was a podunk town... the first fast food place came when I was in High School and it was so exciting! LOL). From '94 to 2006 I lived in Racine.
The more the merrier! We have a tiny house but we have a loft for quests with a double bed and room for cots. We can all share a room in SC if you want.
I have a Jeep cherokee that will fit 4 comfortably on the way to the Expo. On the way home will be another story- hope to bring home lots of loot!
Stan, get those Meiwas ready!
I know everyone on the list is really nice, and I'd have a great time. It's just that now that I'm "old" I'm supposed to stay at home. When I was single, I'd drive all over the country by myself, now I hardly leave the yard, just like an old porch dog. High gas prices just add to the woes. We do a farmers market about 7 miles away, and Harry refuses to take 2 cars, due to the high cost of gas.
Oh, I could go on and on.
BTW, hope you like dogs.... _________________ Susan B

Nevermind, I just mapped it out and 13h 25m with two kids is just not going to happen. We already went to Orlando from Arkansas this year, this would put my nerves over the edge. |

Well Susan, if I leave here at 7 am tomorrow, I'd get to your house at 6 pm. I am kicking myself because there is nothing holding me back. I'm just realizing I coulda gone, but it's too late now to plan. How about a promise for next year?
I hope you all have a safe & fun trip. I will miss being there.
Don't forget to show lots of pics here!! _________________ Patty
