On August 31 2008 Joe Real's house were full of people. His wife was celebrating her RN graduation and passing the board exam and for landing a job right away as an RN.
There were so many food on the table and mostly seafoods. On the center of them all was a whole roasted pig.
The first on the agenda was wine tasting. One has to taste 24 different kinds of wine from sweet to dry varieties and guess each one what it was and score the flavor from 1 to ten for its taste to be in the contest. Most of the wines were Joe made himself.
They all tasted superb but some were more to my likings than the others. As for me when I got to the 12th bottle,I was a little crossed eyed so someone suggested I should eat raw oysters garnished with from freshly picked calamondin and Meyer from his yard. There were many hour'sdevore's on the table next to the wines.
I also saw the fruiting bananas and his 65 different cultivars in one tree. I
envy his trees very much. All his plants were bulging with fruits and healthy leaves. Oh, there were so many kinds of varietal of fruits from such a small yard. but they were all very healthy trees.
After dinner, he put on one of the tables 2 bucketful of plout he just picked from his tree, they were so sweet I never tasted so delicious before. On the one table there were already peaches, tree ripened plums, tomatoes, eggplants, yard long beans harvested from the yard. They were offered to Any one could take them home.
On his busy entertaining, he got me aside and gave me a box, in it were 8 bottles of wine, 5 of which were pomegranate's wine which is my favorite and the other 2 were mariinduquat wine.
Thanks you Joe for a very special day you made us.
