Guavas, Tomatoes, Japanese Cucumbers, Citrus (Ponkan Mandarins), Artichokes, Watermellon, Papaya, Figs and potatoes. I don't have the faintest idea where the potatoes came from. Someone must have dropped them some time or other. I never planted them. - Millet

Millet, some of the best food I've harvested was from plants I did not plant.. hmm.. Potatoes though?? Not like a BIRD planted it for you..

Enjoy!! Sounds like a yummy harvest!!

I might be in SE Co this weekend or the next.. I will go with my brother to pick up his son for school.. If he is going to go to school here again this year..

I cut the artichokes when they are about the size of a tennis ball. - Millet

I better go cut a few then. ill leave the bigger ones to flower.

I have a problem with snails and those grey bugs getting in them what do you use to keep them off your plants ..

for ants i use sugar yeast with little water .
mix sugar and yeast add enough water to get them to stick together and the ants do the rest put it in a small plastic bottle. they take it back to the ant hill and that rides the babies as well.

but i have a major problem with the grey bugs i made a trap for the snails it sometimes works i have beer and sald i use a bottom of a Plant pot and a smaller top place salt in the plant pot aound the smaller top of peanut butter jar then add beer to the top of the jar .
with in an hr i see tons of dead snails slugs but i cant use this too close to my plants . so a better method is what im looking for Tammy

Westwood, to tell you the truth, I have never seen any kind of bug, or insect on the artichokes. Because of Colorado' very cold winters, we really do not have much of a problem with bugs on anything. Scale, and mealy bugs is about it. - Millet
