Nice. Dylan, can you post a full picture of your avocado, pot and all? I'm also growing an avocado in a pot and want to see how big your tree is. Thanks. |

Hilltop, here is a picture of my Bacon Avocado tree. I got this tree in early spring this year in a #5 container. I immediately put it in a #7 and yesterday put it in a #15 container. It was not in the best of shape when I got it, but it came with 1 avocado on the tree. It has set another one for me this year. It probabbly would have more if I had not been picking the flowers in attempt to polinate my Littlecado tree.

Very nice looking fruit. Your satsumas are way ahead of mine. |

Thanks everyone.
Hilltop, you should try to find out if you have the avocado called "Littlecado or Wertz'. They are the same cultivar and I have been unsuccesful in getting mine to fruit in coastal Southern California. I have had mine for around 7 years. It flowers every year and even with my 'Bacon' tree next to it, it did not set any fruit.
Buddinman, my Satsumas with color on them are from the fall bloom last October, and the green ones are from this Spring. We had an unusually warm October and this gave me two distinct crops of Satsumas on the one tree. |
