Hey everyone,

My citrus have been doing moderatelly well in m-the winter storage but now the spring is coming through my calamondin seems to suffer from something strange:

all of its leaves are curled up and start dropping. Some still hang quite tidely to the tree but I know they will drop eventually.
The dropped leaves aren't dry at all, they still feel flexible. They drop with the petiole.

I did have frostdamage on my citrus so could that be the reason? My other citrus just get some dying branches and leafdrop but are stable.

Is your tree starting to flush or bloom? When a citrus tree starts its spring flush and bloom it is also the largest period of normal citrus leaf drop. Members will see a lot of leaf drop at that time of year. - Millet (315 BO-)

I don't know what you mean with 'flush' but it has some buds though I can't say with 100% certainty if these buds came during the last weeks. I guess they must have because just before winter I got rid of all the buds.

Some more info on the leaves: They do not just curl, they also start hanging down while curled. A lot of them still hang to the branches quite tidely while other drop like hell.

Flush is the term for putting out new growth and/or flowers. To add to Millet's post, it seems to me at least, that some varieties are more extreme then others with leaf drop.
