Does anyone have any literature showing the prevalence of Tristeza in Southern California? San Diego in particular.

I'm reading mixed information that seems to conflict. I have Sour Orange rootstock growing and want to know what my risks are. Outside of my immediate area, the nearest commercial grove is probably 3 miles away. With the aphid being a vector, it would also be nice to know how likely an infected aphid from several miles away would make it to my groves.

Right now, I'm getting budwood from CCPP, but:

Thanks,

Phillip, in reading your link (thanks), I was surprised when I read the sentence ....."because budwood is not as good from the greenhouse as it is in the main block"...... I wonder if greenhouse budwood is weaker (thus not as good), due to less sun and wind, than the budwood grown in the open block of trees?? - Millet (1,199-)

Less wind maybe?? Don't know about less sun. From reading this forum, I thought citrus were fairly tolerant of reduced sunlight. What about temperatures in the greenhouse? Maybe greenhouse temps are more consistent than the daytime/nighttime fluctuations in the main block.

I wonder if it could be poor wording, and the guy was still talking about the low volume of budwood from the screenhouse. The context might suggest that.
