No problem, fruits just started changing color in my greenhouse. When they will be ripe, I send you some seeds.
As you most likely know, this variety is called "Bianca - white", because it has white flowers and new growth is light green - not purple, like on other common lemons.
description from nursery catalogue:
" Fruit is medium-sized (100-120g) and has typical lemon shape with slightly rounded base and thicker, smooth and yellow rind. The pulp is yellow, very juicy and acidic (over 6% of acids) and has excellent quality. Currently it is the major market variety in Italy. It usually has 10 segments with thicker membranes and some seeds (3 to 10). 'Zagara Bianca' fruit ripens from November to December and is good for storing and transporting. It has a tendency to drop leaves, when the temperature in winter fall too low."

These Feminello lemons are the most populary in Sicily and not to get outside of there ...

I like to make icecream of it ... but the only difference to the normal Feminello is the lack of red pigments ...

Zagara Bianca is also called " Femminello fior d'arancio" - "femminelo flower of orange" in Italy. Because its flowers and new growth resembles more citrus sinensis than lemon.

There are so many different femminello lemon varieties in Italy, it is really hard to keep up with them all.

Laaz, your above post should be written as........"The St. Teresa is forming HER first flower buds." The tree was named after Saint Teresa of Avila, who lived in Avila, Spain from March 28, 1515 – October 4, 1582 - Millet

My wife asked me to stop working outside in the heat (I must have looked a little burned out) and accompany her to Costco this afternoon. Lo and behold there were several new pallets of citrus trees, including a few very large Monachello lemon trees. I had never heard of this variety but I could not help but buy it for the bargain price of $18.99. The tree is over six feet tall and has already set dozens of fruit! I then came across this thread as I was searching for information about the variety.

I also picked up a gorgeous tarocco blood orange and a kishu mandarin today. On previous visits earlier this year I found Santa Teresa and variegated Eureka lemon, and Australian finger lime. The quality, selection, and price of these trees is just amazing - all are $18.99.

I would be happy to share. I know that I can't receive budwood from outside of CA but is it allowable to send it to SC?
