It appears to be a slow release fertilizer, if it does not give directions for a container, I would read a Osmocote or Dynamite and use the guide on those. Container plants should be fertilized according to size of the container. Your fertilizer is lower strength, but it releases faster, so you might want to use 1/3 less but apply it twice as often.

Hmm. .. I have what looks like that exact bag and it does have container directions on the back -- in one line. The larger bag of that product also included a table with one row being container.

Are you sure it's not on there? I'd rather not include mine just in case it's different but I will if you really want it.

Same product I use. I throw a handful per 5 gal container size every two months double per 10 gal and so on...
