I found old newsletter publication from CRFG that discussed in good details how to root pomegranate cuttings. (But I prefer the summer misting setup that I have developed for roses)

Most importantly, they stated that Pomegranate grafting is as easy and as forgiving as grafting apples. Woo hoo!
