Hi,

I have some Flying Dragon trees inground.Leaves turned orange and red on few of the trees.I know that our soil have high PH, but only few of the trees have this problem.Actually it is hard to call it a "problem", the trees have a nice look with these red leaves Smile

What may be the reason?

Thanks,

That is normal. Many Trifoliata trees have red foliage in the fall before the leaves drop.

Thanks Laaz, I am glad to hear that because they look wonderful.
These days, I have the idea growing flying dragons as ornament trees without grafting anything on them, they are really beautiful trees.

Those could be anthocyanins. I don't see them in Trifoliate, but the Flying dragon, I always have them each season. These helps protect the trees from sunburn effects during the cold months.
