Satsuma and Meyer lemon have bloomed but the calamondin, meiwa quat and limequat have not flushed with blooms yet. They all had big crops last year. Do you think they are taking a year off? Have your quats in 9a bloomed yet?

Quats don't usually start blooming until late May - June.

Thank you for reply. I was beginning to worry. My granddaughter has a serious addiction to Meiwa kumquats.

Don't know about large fruit, but I do notice my potted citrus seem to bloom earlier than the in-ground stuff. Probably because the roots heat up quicker.

My inground Meiwa has not bloomed yet but I expect it should soon. I also haven't been able to check it in three days. I check it tomorrow.

EDIT MAY 8 It has the tiniest of buds.
