Pearly white arils of pomegranate. Peach colored peel. Acidless and very sweet. I saved some seeds for those interested.

Joe,
Do you think this would make a good potted plant??
I started some store bought pomegranate seeds with my daughter just as something to plant with her.. I don't know that they will ever produce as they are kept in a pot.. but I can get fruit at the store regardless..
But I like the sound of the flavor of this..
IF you think it might have a good go at being a potted plant I would like a few for my daughters.. they LOVE Pomegranates!! the max I could let them grow would have to be about 7' tall(including pot).. the girls BR has a lower ceiling than the rest of the house..
if you don't think they would make good potted plants than I will skip it..
very good pic!!! very interesting looking fruit!

Gina, I don't know. Usually from seedlings, they won't fruit in pots. But it is better to try first hand. Will send you some seeds after I am done with stratification. It caught my interest that's why I got a fruit from the germplasm.

Thanks!!
The girls will be excited to have another fruit plant of their very own to grow.. Seeds are good to get kids going on..

maybe if anything else I could graft them later.. but maybe won't need to go that far..

Joe,
What variety of pomegranate is this, and do you know if they have it at the ARS Pomegranate Collection in Davis, CA?

Most likely it is "DPUN0016 White Flower Pomegranate" from the Wolfskill Experimental Nursery in Winters.
