I am writing from Italy
In the centre of our country we can not grow citrons outside, so we have developed a lemon variety that can easily grow in large pot and can be moved in a cold greenhouse in the winter. This has been since 1300 ac where in Florence the Medici family was used to do for having fresh lemons on the table. This tradition is still alive and you can see this big pots with gorgeus lemon tree full of fruits in a lots of people garden
If somebody wants seeds, they are available
