Hi,
This year, I want to water and fertilize my plants by drip irrigation. I can get an answer from the company who set the irrigation system up but I want to get your opinions.
I will fertilize them 250ppm N with every watering as recommended many times.
The fertilizer company doesn't offer any fertilizer similar to 5-1-3 ratio so I will mix three fertilizers to get a close ratio. I will have a mixture of 26-5-16 NPK
First I was planning to fill a 264gallons tank with water, mix the fertilizer and let this fertilized water go by the dripping system.
It was easier to calculate the requirred fertilizer. I need to add roughly, 1 liter of that fertilizer to that water to get 250ppm N.
In that way I will have a water with 250ppm N but the question is, how much water should a tree container get each time?
Do I misunderstand something?
Question 2
What if I don't use a tank to fertilize the whole water at once but add a small fertilizer tank to dripping system and make it let the fertilizer slowly while the water drips to the containers.
Is it easier to arrange the fertilizer ratio that way?
These are questions came to my mind before talking the to dripping system company, they may have very basic answers there but I want to get your opinions first as I mentioned above.
Thank you for your time.[/u]
