Similar hardiness and fruit quality; the Shekwasha had a vague gasoline aftertaste last year, but I don't notice it this year. Nasnaran fruit had 16 seeds, Shekwasha had 3, but fruit was smaller. Both are ornamental; Shekwasha seems to color up a darker orange. Neither have been protected since 1996, no cold damage yet. There are definitely better cultivars of mandarin for this area (Charleston, SC) when taking into account taste vs. hardiness, but I've grown a little attached to these since they were my firsts (from Woodlanders). I have other citrus in a tiny yard, but nothing else has fruited yet. I'm anxious to taste local grapefruit and Ichang lemon.
