Thanks Millet, but upon re-reading Dr. Manners post, it isn't energy production that the fruit is taking up but the Auxin produced by the fruit that inhibits growth flush. So, it seems a possible way to force growth flush is to remove all fruitlets, fruits, and flowers so as to suppress auxin production and increase cytokinin (and hence signals for growth flush). |
