Hello all,
As some of you might know I am also a musician. (Momentary pause for laughter to subside) I am a Bass Trombone, Tuba player.
I have my own brass choir that demands alot of my time. I water and feed my Citrus between gigs. LOL
The past couple of months a buddy of mine and I have been creating the groups webpage. There are still a few (ok, alot) of grammar and typo errors, but I thought I would share the current page with you.
http://www.lowcountrypowerbrass.com
Make sure you check out the "Welcome to Brass Country" link....I am the Tuba player in front.
Please let me know what you think.
Darren
P.S. In case you were wondering, I do have a real job also...I work for a local nursery as one of their delivery truck drivers.

Your group looks great!

Was wondering how you manage it all? Real job, music, cactus and citruses. Last time I checked, there's still 24 hours to a day after returning back to standard time. Laughing

Thanks for sharing!

I appreciate all the kind words folks!
Yea, unfortunatelly there is only 24 hours a day! I could use 8 or 10 more!
Patty, yes I do have a wife, not so much on the kids though. Unless you count five cats and a Chihuahua! LOL
We have a recording in the plans sometime in the future. We do currently have a recording of a Christmas concert we did last year with a local Organist. A couple of us in the group actually arranged some of the music. I am wanting to make copies, but there seems to be some LONG red tape to deal with. When/if I can get a copy or two made I will let you know.We have done live radio, national music magazine and now our website. We are also working on a TV spot. This group has long been a dream of mine and it is slowly coming to fruition. Don't EVER doubt you can reach a dream. It may be a little harder to reach then you first thought, but if you nibble away each day..before long you have eaten the Titanic!

Darren,
I don't k now how many people will read this, but when you mentioned your "dream:" ...please read this everyone. It is hard to typr (BROKE ARM) so e'cuse errors. I have this plaque framed in my bathroom. It has meaning every day.

FOLLOW YOUR DREAM
Follow your dream...
take one step at a time and don't settle for less, just continue to climb.
Follow your dream... if you stumble, don't lose sight of your goal, press on to the top...
for only on top can we see the whole view,
can we see what we've done and what we can do,
can we then have the vision to seek something new....
press on, and follow your dream.

You go guy!
Here is anothernsaying I have in bathroom. It has a piano key boarrd onit

YOU MUST LISTEN TO THE MUSIC OF THE PAST
TO BE ABLE TO SING IN THE PRESENT
AND TO DANCE IN THE FUTURE.
