A friend gave me a very small fruit today that he called a very small satsuma. It was a little bit larger than the last joint of my thumb, very round, very orange, a little hard to peel, but the inside was very sweet. It came from a friend of a friend in Jackson MS and I think it was grown by another friend in Clinton right outside of Jackson but I am pretty sure that nobody in the chain of ownership knows the name of this very small satsuma. I was told that the one I ate was one of the larger ones. It had no seeds and was a real pee wee. Does anybody have a sugestion for the variety ? Thanks, Tom

Guys, thank you very much. I did a quick google search for Kishu Mandarin and I think you nailed it dead on ! I enjoyed reading about it and I am so glad my description made enough sense for you to identify it.
I will be sure to pass info along and maybe some others will benefit from your id.....Tom
